PHOTOGRAPHY

My photography began with my iPhone, taking pictures of my family and the beautiful scenery that surrounds us here in Southwestern Colorado.

As with most smaller organizations, employees must wear many hats, and photography was one of those hats for me. A photographer thus must view the world with a creative eye, and I soon realized that my design background helped me with photography as well.

I soon began taking pictures of physicians and their assistants, hospital events, and more. But when COVID arrived, the purpose of my photos changed. I wanted to capture the emotion in my photos. I wanted those who looked at my photos to FEEL when looking at them. I realize now that for me, photography is about telling a visual story, capturing authentic moments and presenting the world around me in a unique way.
